Aoba Ward Office is offering free English interpretation service for those who need English interpretation support when completing Ward Office procedures.

【English Interpretation Service Hours】 Weekdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 【Interpreter availabilities】 You can check the availability of the interpreter by referring to the "(II) English Interpretation Service Appointment Schedule Sheet" attached in the section below. Please be sure to check the sheet before selecting an appointment date. ※However, the schedule may not reflect the latest information, as it is manually updated. In the case of a scheduling conflict, the interpreter will contact you to reschedule the appointment.

Two business days before the appointment date. ※Applications are considered valid only after you receive a confirmation email from the interpreter. If you do not receive a confirmation email by the appointment date, please contact Aoba Ward Office at 022-225-7211. ※In case of urgent appointments, please call Aoba Ward Office to confirm the availability of an interpreter, as we may be able to accommodate you even on short notice (within two business days).

・This service is limited to procedures at Aoba Ward Office. Any interpretation appointments made for personal matters unrelated to ward office procedures are not accepted. ・Please be punctual. The amount of time the interpreter has allotted for you might be shortened if you were to arrive late to the appointment.

At the information desk on the first floor. On the appointment day, please come to the information desk on the 1st floor and tell the staff to call the interpreter.
